Ana Kuzmanić (she/her/hers) (Costume Designer) is Yugoslav born designer for theatre and opera. She designs costumes on Broadway, nationwide and internationally (including Tony Award-winning August: Osage County Broadway run and international tours). Ana frequently collaborates with Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman, including Lookingglass Theatre productions of Treasure Island and Argonautika, as well as premieres of Eurydice at Los Angeles Opera and Metropolitan Opera. Her other Lookingglass Theatre credits include Manuscript Found in Saragossa, North China Lover, and Big Lake Big City. Ana’s work has been exhibited in the People’s Republic of China, Russian Federation, Mexico, as well as many other countries across Asia, Europe, and North America. Ana Kuzmanić’s undergraduate degree from Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade is in fashion and performance design. Ana is an alumna of Northwestern University where she currently teaches courses in design, computer arts, and drawing/ creative process.
