Doug Hara

DOUG HARA began working with Lookingglass Theatre Company in 1991. Since then, he has participated in 15 productions as an actor, musician, composer or assistant director, including Metamorphoses, West, The Arabian Nights, Up Against It, and Lookingglass Hamlet. Most recently Doug was seen in Lookingglass Alice as The Mad Hatter, Humpty Dumpty, and The White Rabbit. Outside of Lookingglass Doug has worked On and Off-Broadway, and with many Chicago theatres and regional theatres across the country including The Goodman Theatre, About Face Theatre, Jellyeye Drum Opera, Huntington Theatre, Berkeley Repertory, Seattle Repertory, Mark Taper Forum, Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Joyce Theatre, The Arden Theatre, and Second Stage Theater. Doug has performed on Broadway in The Boys of Winter at the Biltmore Theater, and Metamorphoses at Circle in the Square. Doug lives in Lambertville, New Jersey with his wife, Kirstin and daughter, Lyra.
