Co-Owner and Director
Paul Gray is the Managing Partner of Richard Gray Gallery Chicago/New York, 1982-present. He has served on the Lookingglass Theatre Company Board of Directors since 2002.
“Theatre is one of the principal passions in my life. I have worked as a producer and co-producer in for-profit theatre before entering the art world and remain in awe of the magic wrought by writers, actors, directors, and everyone who makes their work possible.”
Born in Chicago, Paul and his wife Dedrea are very involved in fundraising for progressive education, a variety of political candidates, and for social and environmental causes. In addition to his position with the Board at Lookingglass, Paul is currently Chair of the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago International Committee; member of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Education Committee, member of the Human Rights Watch Chicago Committee; and is a founding board member of the Abraham Path Initiative.
