Konstantin Jacé is a songwriter, singer, and composer who has written and performed music in many genres on many stages in Chicago and throughout the United States. Konstantin’s current and longest lasting band project is Moritat, an experimental art rock trio that has been pushing at the edges of sound, composition, and genre for almost a decade; they are set to record a new full length album in the spring of 2019. Konstantin is also an advanced collector, DJ, and historian of rare 78rpm shellac records in many styles of music, with a special attention to folk music and field recordings from around the world.
