JOSH ESSEX

Josh Essex (he/him) is proud to be part of the Lookingglass team as its Business Office Manager. He graduated with a bachelor degree in Theatre from Northwestern University, as well as a minor in film studies and certificate in theatre for young audiences. He was a finalist for the Fletcher Prize for excellence in undergraduate research on Shakespeare and puppetry. In addition to his prior work in the Northwestern financial department, he has also taught drama as a substitute teacher in the Evanston/Skokie school district. In his spare time, he can be found running Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, fostering shelter cats through the CatCade, or writing. He lives in Chicago with his partner, Jessie, and their two rescue cats, Bruno and Jack.
