Jazmin Jones-Oliver (she/her/hers) is thrilled to join the Lookinglass team. For over 8 years, she has used both her arts and marketing backgrounds to help organizations find their “why.” Jazmin’s life’s mission is to increase accessibility to the arts for all children. She has made incredible strides with many of her students being accepted into top arts institutions across the country. Born and raised in Miami, FL, she received her formal training in theater from the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC) which led to her to graduating from New World School of the Arts (Musical Theater) in 2007. Before her big move to Chicago, she served as the Theater Marketing Manager for the AHCAC as well as Artistic Director of the African Heritage Youth Theatre (AHYT). In 2019, Jazmin was recognized as a “Rising Leader of Color” by Theatre Communications Group and in 2020, she was honored as one of the “40 Leaders Under 40-Miami” by Legacy Magazine. Jazmin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida (Orlando, FL) and her Master of Arts degree from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA). Jazmin is overwhelmingly excited to take on the Windy City. She thanks her husband and their Goldendoodle August Wilson for their unwavering support.
