She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Northwestern University and is finishing her M.A. in Applied Theatre, focused on drama in education and communities, from London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her research investigates theories of choice through drama with young people in hospitals, and recently she delivered a grant-funded creative drama project at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, coordinated through Snow City Arts.

Darcy is the Associate Education Director at Mudlark Theater Company in Evanston, where she has taught creative improv and devising for several years. Previous teaching and choreography positions include American Theatre Company, Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop, Windy City Music Theatre, Kaleidoscope Dance Center, and Glenwood Dance Studio.
