BRENDAN GREEN

Associates Board Member Since 2018

Guidance Counselor

Nazareth Academy

Brendan Green is ecstatic to be a part of the Lookingglass Associates Board! He joined the board in March of 2018, and has enjoyed his time ever since.

Brendan is beginning his eleventh year as a Guidance Counselor at Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, IL, and his first as Guidance Director. He graduated from Nazareth in 2002, and then completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then continued his education earning a Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling from Lewis University in Romeoville, and a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in River Forest. In 2016, he was named a University of Chicago Outstanding Educator Award Winner.

In addition to his time at Nazareth, he spends the summer as the Public Address Voice of Frontier League Baseball’s Schaumburg Boomers. The perfect mix of his love of sports and theater.

Having appeared on stage in “Hello, Dolly!” as Horace Vandergelder, and “Fiddler on the Roof” as Tevye, Brendan prefers to watch and discuss theater more than perform in it. You can often find him enjoying shows at the Lookingglass, but also at many of Chicago’s other theaters. He strongly believes we love in America’s best city for the arts, and that it is important to embrace that.

Brendan has no children, but is very proud of his Honor Roll Maltese, Myrtle.
