Lookingglass Theatre Company is located in the historic Water Tower Water Works at 821 North Michigan Avenue at Pearson Street on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. Enter through the wooden double doors from the elevated terrace across Pearson from Water Tower Place.
Three convenient parking options are located less than a block from our theatre.
Discounted parking is available the day of the performance at The John Hancock Center Self Park, The Olympia Centre Self Park and Water Tower Place. Bring your parking ticket to the box office, and our staff will validate it. We cannot provide validation without a proof of parking ticket.
- Park at The John Hancock Center Self Park for up to six (6) hours for only $10.00.
- Park at The Olympia Centre Self Park for up to six (6) hours for only $10.00.
- Park at Water Tower Place for up to four (4) hours for only $12.00 or between four (4) and seven (7) hours for $16.00.

Pre-purchased parking at The Olympia Centre Self Park is non-refundable, non-transferrable, and may only be used for the date purchased. Must enter garage after 5pm on performance nights, and after 2pm for matinees.
These special rates for for Lookingglass patrons and are valid only on performance days for paying ticket holders. Parking spaces are subject to availability.

Lookingglass Theatre ground floor and balcony seats are accessible for all patrons who use a wheelchair or a scooter, or patrons who cannot walk stairs.
Assistive Listening Devices
Lightweight assistive listening devices are available for every mainstage performance at the box office free of charge. A form of ID is required as a deposit.
Large Print Programs
Large print programs are available in electronic form or hard copy at the box office. If you would like a copy in advance of your visit to the theatre, please call the box office.
Audio Description/Touch Tour
Each subscription production features one performance with audio description. This service allows patrons with vision loss to hear a verbal description of the design elements, actor movements, and other elements not conveyed through sound. For the 2013-2014 season, audio described performances will take place on:

Available at 1:30pm before the audio described performances, Touch Tours are tactile explorations of scenic, costume, and property design, led by our audience services staff. Please RSVP for the touch tour when you purchase your tickets by calling the box office. Access discounts are available. You can also purchase a discounted season subscription with audio description here.
Each subscription production features one performance with open captioning. At captioned performances, text is displayed in line-of-sight on an electronic LED board showing what the actors are saying and other sound effects on stage. For the 2013-2014 season, open captioned performances will take place on:
