J. GROVER HOLLWAY

J Grover Hollway (He/Him) is a Jeff Award-winning sound designer and licensed mental health counselor. His designs have been presented at theatres throughout the Midwest region including The House Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Third Avenue Playworks, Actors Gymnasium, and Next Act Theatre. Previously at Lookingglass, Grover served as assistant sound designer on Frankenstein and Act(s) of God. He has worked as a contracted designer with the Northwestern MFA program on 17 productions and taught audio design at National High School Institute and New Trier Township High School. Grover received his MA in Counseling from Northwestern University and works full-time as a therapist at Affiliates in Counseling.
