Carolyn Ravichandran’s (she/her) love for the theater began in the fourth grade when she was cast as the Lion in her school’s production of The Wizard of Oz. At the same time, she was engaged in tap, tumbling and gymnastics lessons. When asked to “pick one,” she chose gymnastics, but her passion for the stage never left.
Carolyn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from Lewis University. She remained deeply connected to the performing arts, regularly supporting productions at Lewis’ Philip Lynch Theater and cheering on her friends. Carolyn’s professional experience ranges from Research & Development to Product Management at Argonne National Laboratories, Andrew Corporation, and AT&T/Lucent Technologies, where she led the redesign of the E9-1-1 system.
After leaving Lucent Technologies to care for her family, Carolyn served as a strategic advisor to Comnet International, chaired and served on numerous charitable auction committees, and continues to volunteer in her community. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, taking long walks, and tending to her garden. And of course, she still owns a pair of tap shoes and a balance beam!
