This commissioned worked by was to signify a historic moment of potential dialogue by the women of the three Abrahamic faiths in west Asia. Shiba Ghaderi’s calligraphy of the word DIALOGUE is interpreted in several languages including Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, English and Turkish. The dark realty that the women of the region face is in juxtaposition with the colors of the national flags of the region. Only dialogue initiated by women seems to be a course of action remaining.
