Costume Shop Manager
kClare McKellaston is a Chicago-based Costume Designer, Educator, and Artist. Over the past ten years, kClare has run wardrobe at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, draped and built costumes for Northlight Theatre, and has served as a Stylist for The Second City Mainstage. She has managed both professional and academic costume shops and has overseen the organization of several large costume stocks; most notably, Navy Pier Entertainment’s twenty-five-year-old costume storage. She has also designed garments out of outdoor textiles for the acclaimed International Casual Furnishings Association’s Gala. kClare most recently served as Adjunct Faculty and Costume Shop Manager at Dominican University.
