Drawing from historical tests, including letters, journals, and eyewitness accounts, this world premiere brought to life Chicago’s origin story and greatest disaster. Part dance piece, part history lesson, part musical, and part story theater, with the Fire itself embodied as a young girl in a white dress, taunting firefighters and delighting in destruction.
