A COMMUNAL RITUAL OF REMEMBRANCE
An annual community art ritual honoring Eugene Williams, whose death marked a painful chapter in Chicago’s history. Curated by Ensemble Members Kareem Bandealy and J. Nicole Brooks, the gathering invites Black artists to merge movement, music, and word in a free, spirit-guided act of collective memory.
ICE CREAM CIRCUS
A WORDLESS STORY OF WONDER, KINDNESS, AND PLAY
Created by Lookingglass Theatre and The Actors Gymnasium, Ice Cream Circus is a free, outdoor performance that blends dance, clown, and circus into a joyful experience for all ages. Told without spoken language, the piece invites audiences of every background into a shared moment of imagination.
