About
Nina Nashif (she/her) is an entrepreneur, investor, and board member with over 25 years of global experience building, backing, and scaling innovative healthcare companies. She founded and led Healthbox, one of the first healthcare innovation and venture platforms, which partnered with leading health systems and payers and launched one of the country’s first digital health seed accelerator programs. Nina was simultaneously a managing director at Sandbox Industries, GP of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Venture Fund.
As Founder and CEO of Nora, Nina is now advancing midlife women’s health through an AI-powered platform that redefines care across ovarian aging and related chronic conditions, addressing a critical gap affecting millions of women facing elevated chronic disease risk during the hormonal midlife transition.
Nina brings to boards deep expertise in ecosystem orchestration, strategic partnerships, and translating innovation into scaled impact. She currently serves on the boards of Inspirien, a large privately held healthcare risk management company and HER Medicine, which delivers unbiased, evidence-based women’s health education to both patients and clinicians. She has held board roles with several other venture-backed companies and previously served on the advisory council of the Stanford Center on Longevity.
Nina has been recognized as one of Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40” and as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. She is an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), a global leadership community of chief executives.
