He has served as Music Director for productions at American Blues, Goodman, Steppenwolf, Drury Lane, Lookingglass, Mercury, Northlight, Apollo, and Apple Tree Theatres, Theatre at the Center, Peninsula Players, and American Theater Company. His orchestration credits include Heart of Spain and The Original Grease. Reorchestrations include A Little Night Music for Boho and Writers Theatres, and Oklahoma! for American Theater Company. Malcolm has produced albums for Christine Mild and Cory Goodrich, and maintains a teaching and recording studio in Elk Grove Village.
