Lee Brasuell is the Head of the Department of Theatre at Oklahoma State University. In 2016 he was named an Oklahoma DaVinci Fellow by the DaVinci Institute, and in July of 2017 received the Mary Lou Lemon endowed Professorship for Underrepresented Voices. His professional credits include aerial and circus rigging design for Lookingglass Theatre for the productions of Lookingglass Alice, Hephaestus, Peter Pan, Fedra, Cascabel, and The Little Prince. Other Chicago credits include production design for Shear Madness at The Legendary Chicago Theatre, a production artist for Cirque Shanghai’s Bai Xi at Chicago’s Navy Pier, and scenic design for Theatre at the Center’s Noises Off. He co-designed the new circus and performer apparatus, the Tao-Line, which debuted at the Muse Circus training facility in Brooklyn, New York, in February 2020.
