CHANON DICARLO

Chanon DiCarlo (she/hers) grew up in the Catskill Mountains of New York, famously known as The Borscht Belt or as I like to say, the in real-life Comedy Central.    After graduating from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Science, she moved to Los Angeles and worked for the William Morris Agency & Dick Clark Productions before settling into decades-long career at Upstaging Lighting & Transport; and eventually relocating to Chicago.   Upstaging provides lighting & transportation services for concert touring and corporate productions. Since 1999, she has had the honor of working alongside some of the largest stadium & arena productions managing their transportation logistics for Upstaging.   Having worked in the entertainment industry for almost 24 years, she has witnessed the power of performance art time and again.  As a parent, she aspires to do meaningful work to ensure all children grow up experiencing the magic & healing power of the arts.
