Temple Williams III (he/him) has been an Ensemble Member since 1989 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of 51 Minds Entertainment and Authentic Entertainment (both subsidiaries of Endemol Shine North America), Los Angeles based production companies focused on non-scripted TV (“Below Deck”, “Below Deck Mediterranean”, “Trading Spaces” and the feature film Beats for Netflix). Temple first worked with 51 Minds as Executive Vice President and General Manager from 2009–12. In addition to his career in television, Temple is also Chief Executive of Freedom Media, a company dedicated to financing independent feature films (credits include The Forger, Equals and Maggie’s Plan).
Earlier in his career, Temple spent ten years at Viacom in various production roles including Senior Vice President of Production at MTV and later, Senior Vice President of Production for the Viacom Entertainment Group which includes Comedy Central, Spike TV and TV Land.
In addition to his work in the corporate and production worlds, Temple has held a number of creative positions, including Executive Producer of The Dead Girl (a feature film starring Brittany Murphy, Toni Collete and James Franco, nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards, including Best Picture), Co-President of the Northwestern University Entertainment Alliance (a not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting Northwestern alumni through philanthropy, education and the arts) and Managing Director of Lookingglass. Temple lives in Los Angeles, California.
