Lauren Alyssa Skulley IV (she/her/hers) joined Lookingglass in September, 2021. Lauren has recently relocated from Colorado where she attended the University of Northern Colorado. She received a degree in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in lighting design and technology. Alongside her degree work, Lauren spent the last several years working with the Union Colony Civic Center and Campus Commons roadhouses in Greeley, as well as freelancing around the Denver metro area as a theatrical electrician. Lauren’s most recent work took her to Grand Lake, Colorado, where she acted as master electrician for their 2021 summer season. This included productions of Ring of Fire, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Little Shop of Horrors. Lauren has a passion for new and experimental theatre and enjoys working on boundary pressing productions. It is a desire to work more in this sector of theatre that brought Lauren to Lookingglass Theatre Company. In her freetime, Lauren enjoys writing, running, and mutual aid work. She also holds a deep passion for tabletop roleplaying games. Lauren is excited to be working with the Lookingglass Theatre Company and hopes her passion and excitement shines through in her work.
