About Glass Chapters
Students in grade 3 – 4 dive deeper into chapter books in this class, creating their own original version of a an often-familiar story! Each week, students will use Lookingglass core values (invention, transformation, and collaboration), as they explore a different chapter or episode from the session’s story. Weekly class includes warm-ups as well as theatre games and exercises which focus on character development and story structure. Students also write, improvise, create, and rehearse their original scripts. On the last day of class, family and friends are invited to watch the “informance” (informal performance) featuring the students’ original work!
All classes, including the end-of-session informance, take place at Fourth Presbyterian Church.
