LOOKINGGLASS ALICE
From the Works of Lewis Carroll
Produced in Association with The Actors Gymnasium
Lookingglass Theatre Company is committed to the health and well-being of our audiences, artists, staff, and to mitigating the spread of the virus in our community. Based on the recommendations and policies of local and federal officials, and our own commitment to you, for whom we create, our production of Lookingglass Alice will be postponed.
Given the uncertainty about public gatherings, it has become clear that it is not responsible for us to announce new dates at this time. Our team is continually assessing when it will be appropriate for all of us – you, our artists, our staff – to find one another again, and planning for how we can do so responsibly when that time comes. We are looking forward to having you back in our storycastle for the full Lookingglass Alice experience. If you have tickets to Lookingglass Alice, and wish to contact us during this time, please send us an email at box@lookingglasstheatre.org, and we will respond as soon as we’re able.
Lookingglass Alice returns for a fantastical trip down the rabbit hole, through the looking glass, and deep into your heart. The New York Times calls this circus-infused adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories “eye-catching entertainment.” The Chicago Tribune lauds it as “ingenious,” and the Chicago Sun-Times calls it “pure, unadulterated magic.”
This signature Lookingglass production, adapted and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin (The Little Prince, Moby Dick), has toured the country, enchanting audiences of all ages. Now, after a five-year hiatus, the awe-inspiring production comes back home for a new generation to discover.
