Troy West has been absent from the Lookingglass stage since 2007 appearing in the original production of August: Osage County at Steppenwolf. This production transferred to Broadway, the National Theatre in London and will conclude in Sydney, Australia in the Opera House in the fall of 2010. In 1989, Troy saw Lookingglass' Treatment at the old 13th Street space and was hooked, but it wasn't until 1998 in George when he debuted at Lookingglass. Additionally with the company he has appeared in The Idiot, The Great Fire, Hard Times (three times), Great Men of Science #'s 21 &22, The Old Curiosity Shop, The Wooden Breeks and made a cameo appearance as a polar bear in Her Name Was Danger. Credits elsewhere include: Bug (off Broadway at the Barrow Street Theatre) and various stints with A Red Orchid Theatre, The Goodman Theatre, Remains Theatre and the American Conservatory Theatre. Troy will be seen playing Dr. Rosenstone in the upcoming Ron Howard projected entitled, Cheaters.
