Learn the tricks of the Physical Theatre trade, and Perform your own Lookingglass Alice!

Session I: July 14-July 25, 2008
Session II: August 4-August 15, 2008

Tumble down the rabbit hole this summer with Lookingglass and experience our unique brand of nonsense. Come slay the Jabberwock, sip tea with a Mad Hatter, and play croquet with the Queen of Hearts. Learn to believe impossible things as you study physical theatre techniques and adapt a brand new version of Lewis Carroll’s wildly imaginative Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass stories.

SUMMERGGLASS mornings are on the Lookingglass Alice stage at the Lookingglass Theatre in the Water Tower Waterworks. You will work with trained instructors to learn many of the same techniques and skills used to create shows like Lookingglass Alice.

SUMMERGGLASS afternoons will be spent in the Lookingglass Studios on the 22nd Floor of the John Hancock. You and your fellow SUMMERGGLASS Ensemble will invent and stage your very own adaptation of Alice in Wonderland to perform on the Lookingglass stage.

Campers showcase their performance on the Lookingglass Main Stage at the end of each session for parents and friends. Session I performance is scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2008. Session II performance is scheduled for Friday, August 15, 2008.
