Company members mentioned in this article: Philip R Smith and Kevin Douglas by Doug George Englishman Phileas Fogg (Philip R. Smith) makes a fantastical Victorian-era claim: The world can be circumnavigated in 80 days. He and his trusted valet (Kevin Douglas) must then set out to prove it—that's the subject "Around the World in 80 Days," directed by Laura Eason, a new adaptation of Jules Verne's novel and the big show at Lookingglass this spring. Of course, it won't be a Lookingglass show unless is has clever sets and in-your-face physical performances—audiences can expect a full-size elephant and a tea dance aboard a sailing ship.
