Since 2006

Lauren Hirte (she/her) is an actor and aerialist, and sometimes teacher of both, currently splitting her time between Chicago and Los Angeles. Lauren originated the role of Alice in Lookingglass’ Lookingglass Alice, and performed in multiple runs of the show, including tours to McCarter Theatre, New Victory Theater, Arden Theatre Company, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. She has been working with Lookingglass since 2001 with credits including: Hard Times, The Little Prince, Icarus, Fedra: Queen of Haiti, and Hephaestus.

Regional Credits include: A Christmas Carol (Actors Theater of Louisville), Laura Eason’s Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates (Arden Theatre Company) and as the title character in Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s production of Anne Frank. Lauren studied theater at the Piven Theater Workshop and circus arts at The Actors Gymnasium. Currently in Los Angeles, Lauren is a proud new company member of Echo Theater in Atwater Village and teaches aerial arts at TSNY Los Angeles on the Santa Monica Pier.
