Lookingglass Residency Programs

Lookingglass’ Residency Programs bring the world of the theatre straight to the classroom.. Our teaching artists focus on teaching the “Lookingglass method”, which emphasizes invention, transformation, and collaboration.  We provide disciplined instruction as well as arts integration programming.

Our curriculums are aligned with the Chicago Guide to Teaching & Learning in the Arts, as well as the Illinois Learning Standards for Fine Arts.  Our programs can be offered during school or after school, and are individually customized with our partners’ goals and needs in mind. Currently we are at work in over twenty schools and community agencies in and around Chicago!
