Lookingglass brings the fun of Summergglass Camp to a week-long spring break camp! Mornings are spent learning physical theatre skills, which may include juggling, stilt walking, and stage combat. During the afternoons, campers adapt their own versions of stories from Alice in Wonderland, which they will perform at the end of the week for friends and family. Online registration begins January 18, 2010.Â
Spring classes start April 5 and end June 12th.

recently learned that the John Hancock Building is no longer able to offer
discounted parking for our guests. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we
will keep working to see if there are any other discounted options available. In
the meantime, we are still able to offer $10 parking for up to 4 hours at the

In the meantime, we are still able to offer $10 (valid for 4 hours) if you park in the Olympia Center parking garage, located at 161 E. Chicago Ave. It is your responsibility to ask your teacher for validation stamps and parking chasers before leaving Lookingglass.*
There is also limited metered street parking near both the Hancock
building and the Water Tower Water Works, east of Michigan Avenue on
Chestnut Street and Chicago Avenue.

Lookingglass has designed classes for the parents looking for exciting ways to tell stories with their kids, professionals who are interested in the Lookingglass method, and non-professionals who just want a break from reality and incorporate a little play into their lives. Â Feel free to call us for more details, and to help choose a class that's right for you.Â

Parents enjoy the show while their children take part in a special workshop in the Chase Studio Theatre on the second floor of our theatre in the Water Tower Works! Each Work shop introduces children to the world of theatre and themes from the play, and includes storytelling, a craft, and a snack.Â

Lookingglass' classes and workshops are held in our rehearsal room and classroom on the 22nd floor of the John Hancock Center downtown. The Hancock is located at 875 N. Michigan Avenue, one block north of our theatre in the Water Tower Works building. For details regarding our location, please refer to our FAQ. As a convenience for parents in the Lincoln park area, the Menomonee Club in the Drucker Center now offers select classes in their facility for ages 5-18 years. Click here for more information on these classes.  Â
