Lift off with Artistic Director David Catlin (Lookingglass Alice) in this World Premiere Lookingglass Original. Using myth, visual metaphor, song and gravity-defying choreography, Icarus explores a father's need to have his child succeed, the psychological desire to take to the air, and the dizzying despair of falling.

Performances Wednesday through Sunday at 7:30 pm, plus Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 pm.
Special performances on December 22 & 29, 2009 at 7:30 pm.
No performances on December 24 & 25, 2009 or January 1, 2010.

In 2008, a workshop production of Icarus was commissioned by the J. Paul Getty Museum and first performed as part of the Villa Theater Lab series at the Getty Villa on May 16, 2008.
