We all dream of conquering gravity.
Lift off with Artistic Director David Catlin (Lookingglass Alice) in this World Premiere Lookingglass Original. Using myth, visual metaphor, song and gravity-defying choreography, Icarus explores a father's need to have his child succeed, the psychological desire to take to the air, and the dizzying despair of falling.
In 2009, a workshop production of Icarus was commissioned by the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and first performed as part of the Villa Theater Lab series at the Getty Villa on May 16, 2009.
Begins December 5, 2009Â

What price do we pay for intimate connections made in an anonymous, digital age?
David Schwimmer (Race) co-directs the World Premiere of his new script about a seemingly innocent online encounter that threatens to unravel the fabric of an American family. Using state of the art technology, Trust will be a cutting-edge theatrical experience, combining projection, video, photos, texting and live chat.
As the internet increasingly becomes the hunting ground for sexual predators, this production will serve to not only raise awareness but move and empower audiences to take action in their community and within their own families.
Begins March 3, 2010Â
