The 70-foot Tall Tented Auditorium in River West - The Riverfront Theater - 650 W Chicago Ave

For this year’s Madhatter’s Ball guests will run away with The Madhatter’s Circus in the 70-foot tall circus tent in River West. Guests will enjoy cocktails, one-of-a-kind circus performers, hors d'oeuvres, live music, DJs, dancing, and a silent auction and raffle with once-in-a-lifetime prizes, all under the big top of the Riverfront Theater. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Attire is circus cocktail -- costumes are optional but hats are recommended.

The official after-party for the 2012 Madhatter's Ball is at Lumen, 839 W Fulton. All Madhatter's Ball guest will receive complimentary admission and one dink at the after-party. All Madhatter's Ball ticket buyers receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Time Out Chicago.

Proceeds from the event will support the operation, expansion and outreach of Lookingglass’ Education and Community programs, which encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence for thousands of community members each year.

The Lookingglass Theatre Junior Board promotes Lookingglass Theatre Company to a broad demographic. It assists in raising funds for the theatre’s operation, expansion and outreach of Lookingglass’ Education and Community programs, which encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence for thousands of students each year.

The Junior Board represents an enthusiastic network of innovative young professionals from Chicagoland. The Junior Board supports Lookingglass through marketing, networking, and special events designed to garner awareness and raise funds.

Founded in 2001, The Lookingglass Junior Board has quickly grown to become one of the most influential associate boards in Chicago. Since its founding, the group has raised more than half a million dollars through special events and individual donations. With over 30 members from various professions, it represents the diversity, energy and enthusiasm that has shepherded Lookingglass to become one of the nation’s premier theatre companies.

Every year the Lookingglass Junior Board hosts The Madhatter's Ball to raise funds for Lookingglass' acclaimed education and community programs. More than ten years ago, founders David Schwimmer, Billy Dec and Joey Slotnick created a high-profile fundraiser unlike any other that has grown to one of Chicago’s most talk-about events.
