'Miz,' '80 Days' and 'Requiem' top Jeff nominations

The Marriott Theatre’s huge revival of “Les Misérables,” Lookingglass Theatre’s creative adaptation of “Around the World in 80 Days” and Shattered Globe Theatre’s gritty “Requiem for a Heavyweight” are among the shows nominated for numerous Joseph Jefferson Awards for the 2007-08 season. The long-lived volunteer committee this year judged 123 different productions by 53 distinct Chicago theater companies for the Equity wing of its awards program, which recognizes nominees in 35 different categories of theatrical work.
