Congratulations. The “Last Act”, which we saw yesterday, is one of the best (if not the very best) play we have ever seen at Lookingglass. I hope it gets a long run at a lot of different venues around the country. Thanks for a great experience.

The last act was the 5th play I have seen at lookingglass. I am dazzled and increasingly impressed each time I go. I can't help but to spread the word. My favorite part in attending eachtime is seeing how creativly you manipulate and change the space. Lookingglass is a gem to the city, I can't wait to see what's to come. On a side-note I was originally set to see The Last Act on 6/15 the evening preformance, however we were traveling home form Denver and got delayed with weather making it impossible with the traffic to get to the theater on time. I called the box office from the airport and the woman working that afternoon could not have been nicer in honoring our tickets and moving us to the 6/17 preformance. She even gave us options. We were so thankful. Lookingglass, you are the best! Thanks again.

The entire production was amazing. The set design, the actors, the concept -- you name it, it was tops. Another reason why Lookingglass Theatre won the Tony Regional Theatre Award this year. We are so lucky to have this company right here in our own backyard.

The acting was wonderful.
It was humorous and sad at the same time.
It was very heartful and an insight into an older woman reliving her life.

This was a wonderful, moving production. The Penrods' set was spot on. Understudy Elaine Roth was amazing. We should see lots more of her. This tops what she did at Steppenwolf in Mockingbird and as The Nurse at Writers' Theatre.

I loved this choice play and am telling everyone to go see it quickly before it leaves.

As one whose ancestors hailed from the same shtetl as mentioned in the play, this was a must see for us. We came with several elderly people who had some trouble hearing all the dialogue. The set was charming, the details & music evocative, the actors good. I only wish I had thought to bring some kleenex! We hadn't been to the Lookingglass Theatre before, so were delighted by the theater itself.

Perfect timing; outstanding acting; staging was marvelous!

I thought the show was intimate, touching, and stunningly beautiful. The story locks you in and the actors did a wonderful job. The play has just the right amount of humor and heart to make it truly endearing. I have recommended this to everyone I know in the Chicago area. We were just visiting from Texas and I picked one play to see while we were in town, and I am so very happy that I chose this one.

Terrific cast, beautifully and creatively staged, both humorous and touching. A great night out.

It is an imaginative, satisfying play....illuminates some ultimate questions through the voices of very well played characters.

Great play in one of my favorite theaters, Lookinglass. You always feel as if you are part of the action in this theater. The play it self was also amazing, it highlights issues in out society ranging from health care to long lost love. Would strongly recommend it, but keep in mind this is a serious piece of art that is meant to make you think.

A "10" for story, staging and acting. This show should get serious consideration for a Broadway run.

Outstanding drama superbly written and beautifully acted. A sure winner of a Jeff Award. I cannot recommend this more highly!!

Although a friend had told me that the puppeteer was an excellent devise that moved the play along, I thought that the parallels between historical characters and Lilka added depth to the play. I came away realizing that we all have some stored secrets; some may go to the grave with us.

We found this play to be very moving

it was set during the war there was still some
humor among the characters. We though it was very
well done.

I was in Chicago visiting from LA this past week and saw The Last Act of Lilka Kadison. Beautiful, beautiful work. I can't stop talking/thinking about it! Thank you for a wonderful evening of theatre.

Really enjoyed the show last night--The Last Act of Lilka Kadison. Great acting and set design with the toy theatre. It was very moving. I smiled; I got teary. Terrific show!

My husband and I saw the Last Act of Lilka Kadison and absolutely LOVED it. I have been a LG subscriber for 6 years and this may be one of my favorite shows yet, keep up the great work LG!

Congratulations on the Tony! Also, the new show, "The Last Act..." is amazing. I saw the first preview night and was completely moved by the humor and the heart; a truly exceptional night of theater.
